I don't think it was, and I would advise you not to wait ten years before admitting today was great.

~Alexander Graham BellYou have to wake up a virgin each morning.

If you don’t learn deeply you have to come back again to learn.

~Carl Sandburg,
The poem moved me very deeply and the first friend I spoke with today also mentioned the poem so I had to find it and share it. I hope it encourages you, lifts your spirit and helps you to strive for the greatness that you were created for. Respect others and demand that they respect you. Work hard to beatify the things around you.

I am not perfect; I will never be, and I don’t expect that.

You must help others to live a meaningful life and there are others who will help you.
Hi waynem. Just want to say thank you for the post. I am not an American but Australian and have visited your country. I was very impressed by your patriotism and the level of respect you give your armed forces. After reading the poem I can see why Chief Tecumseh was the leader of a great Indian nation. Such wisdom from which we can all learn. For all those people who posted above me with family in the armed forces Thank you ! from your allies across the Pacific.

But still you can be cheerful and learn a lot from your life.

And if you prefer you can go out of this round of existence.
Karina,
Sometimes you just have to do what your family does not want you to do. It sounds like military service is just part of your DNA. You are indeed an amazing person and I am so proud to connect with you.

Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.
And now for a new craft resource. If you’ve ever taken a poetry class, there’s a good chance that you were assigned Richard Hugo’s book, . Hugo’s essays on writing poetry have helped students and non-students alike figure out one of the hardest things about poetry – what do you write about, and how do you do it genuinely and authentically? The Poetry Society of America has the title essay of his book online. You can find it . If you’ve never read it before, I hope you find it helpful. And if you have read it, you may enjoy revisiting it, as I did.

I am glad I could be of service. And glad you loved the the movie.

When Hail the Pilot first started, It was just Matt, Bobby and I so it went through some further changes until we finally finalized it in the studio. The idea for the lyrics came to me when I overheard someone saying that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

First of all understand your mind deeply.

Hello, all. It’s March 1, and that means that April is right around the corner, bringing lilacs, spring rains, and National/Global Poetry Writing Month! What is NaPoWriMo/GloPoWriMo? It’s your chance to stretch your poetry muscles by writing a poem a day for the month of April.

Thank you for your service and your desire to serve some more.

“No one’s stronger than a man who can harness his emotions and his past.
Use it as motivation to write the most important letter of your life.”

I know how you feel, and I’ve heard a lot of people say that.

Whether it's a friend who always picks the same kind of girl to date even though he's been burned over and over again or a situation that we find ourself in that evokes that familiar feeling of "here we go again"...we all have our Achilles heel that we end up facing at one point or another.
